Fingerstyle Deluxe

Everything your fingers asked for… and more.

Your fingers called, we answered.

Though all guitarists share an appreciation for superior balance, clarity, presence and tonal character, fingerstyle players have additional needs. These include the ability to articulate polyphonic and ployrhythmic lines, the ability to support alternate tunings and the ability to achieve maximum volume and fullness without undue exertion.” We get it. The Fingerstyle Deluxe addresses players’ needs head-on, combining age old solutions and a few novel ones.

We begin with a 12 fret OMS body style. 12 fret construction has been long favored by classical and fingerstyle guitarists for efficient tone generation (think: less exertion), a result of locating the bridge in the center of the widest section of the lower bout. Then we add a cutaway to give you back a few more frets of easy playing access.

In our book, nothing beats a California Redwood soundboard for bottom end clarity paired with a singing, shimmery top end having sustain to spare. Then we add Cocobolo back and sides to create a buttery, complex tonal palette in all registers.

The result? Let your ears – and fingers – decide.
